I moved to Cornwall in 2001 where a renewal of interest in photography and a digital camera led to something which has become an obsession...finding a perfect image. Of course this is impossible but leads to a fascinating journey along the way. As I look at nature I am constantly amazed by all the shapes and colours and sizes which keep presenting themselves to me. When I think I know something, it transforms, and there is always something to document.

Inspiration comes from natural form, the challenge of the weather and the changing seasons. Close observation changes what I see around me and the more I photograph the more there is to astonish me.
