FLOWERS
Flowers are amazing things. They are infinite in variety, shape and colour, they turn up in odd corners, they cheer us up in the dark grey days of winter and provide the background on long hot summer days. How exciting is it when the first few flowers turn up in spring, and when the sea thrift carpets the cliffs in May. Then there's the surprise of a flower in the dead of Winter, when everything else is asleep.
